This policy explains how Wheeler Property Services (“we”, “us”) collects and handles your personal information when you use this website or request a quote. We aim to keep things simple and only collect what we need to do the job properly.

Who we are

Wheeler Property Services is a painter and decorator business based in Golborne, Warrington, run by Matt Wheeler. You can reach us at hello@wheelerpropertyservices.co.uk or on 07733 528024.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we ask for:

• Your name
• Phone number (optional)
• Email address (optional)
• The location of the job
• A short description of the work you’d like quoted

We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies on this site. Your browser may store small technical items needed to load pages, but nothing that tracks you.

Why we collect it

The only reason we ask for this information is so Matt can reply with a quote and arrange the work. We don’t sell, share or pass your details to anyone else, and we don’t use them to market anything beyond responding to your enquiry.

Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interest— you contacted us asking for a quote, and we need your details to provide it.

Where it’s stored

Form submissions are handled by Netlify, who host this website, and emailed to our Microsoft 365 mailbox at hello@wheelerpropertyservices.co.uk. Both providers are UK GDPR compliant.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that don’t turn into work are deleted within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep basic contact details for 6 years to meet HMRC record-keeping requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
• Ask us to delete your information (“right to be forgotten”)
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data

Changes to this policy

If anything about how we handle your information changes, we’ll update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top.
